Todays American and German researchers have found a way to use molecular imaging to help cure cancer victims. Molecular imaging allows the researchers to personalize a cancer victims trearment by getting a closer look at the cancer. When getting a closer look at the cancer the researcher can tell how long the cancer has been in the body and how far it has spread. The amount of radiation exposure is determined on how far the cancer has spread. In Germany researchers have tested positron-emission-tomograph(PET) to deremine just how well molecular imaging is working. The researchers monitered 33 tumorus paitents that have been recieving specialized treatment from molecular imaging. Results of the test showed that molecular imaging could be used in the future to prscribe treatments to all cancer victims.
In my opinion, molecular imaging should be used on all cancer victims. I believe that this method should be used to ensure the right treatment needed for all types of cancer. Molecular imgaing and PET should not only be used in researching, but used in cancer clinics all over the world. I predict that in the near future molecular imaging will be used world wide. I beilieve that not only cancers but diseases of all kinds can be cured with molecular imaging as well.
