Human Hair as Plant food

Just recently scientist have been doing research on human hair and plants. They believe that human hair can be a source of nutrients for plants. Their experiment was human hair combined with a compost consisting of lettuce, yellow poppy, feverfew, and wormwood. There conclusion showed that their hypothesis was true and that human hair combined with a mixture of fertilizer helps plants to grow more than plants with normal fertilizer.
In my opinion I think that would be good to use our hair to help grow plants because we cut our hair every now and then and it just goes in the trash. Why not use it to help plants?
